Letchworth State Park | SUNY Geneseo
This weekend I had the pleasure of traveling to Geneseo, NY to do engagement photos for two of our best friends!
Caleb and I have known Sean and Caroline for a long time. Caleb and Sean grew up together and Sean served as the Best Man in our wedding. When Sean started dating Caroline, we knew that they were going to get married. Their personalities just fit and we had never seen Sean so happy!
While they can sometimes be a bit serious, my first impression of Sean and Caroline is that they love to have fun together. They are constantly teasing and laughing, which is why I love these photos! As a photographer, I try to find the pose that brings out the couple’s true personality and for these two that’s any pose with them laughing!
Sean and Caroline chose to start their photos in Letchworth State Park in Mount Morris, NY. If you haven’t been there, make the trip! The park is 17 miles of winding roads, deep gorges, stone bridges, and huge waterfalls. In other words, it’s amazing! Caroline was incredibly brave and hiked down all the stone staircases in heels! I’m still impressed!
After leaving the park we made our way to the SUNY Geneseo campus. All four of us are Geneseo alumni (GO KNIGHTS!) and that is where Sean and Caroline met. It was graduation weekend, but we were lucky and had the campus to ourselves! We got there just in time to watch the sun set at the gazebo and then take a few images in Sturges Quad. The clock tower chimed as we were finishing up and it was the perfect end to the session.
Sean and Caroline, thank you so much for allowing me to take your engagement photos! It was a pleasure photographing you! I can’t wait to celebrate with you in September!!!
