Onondaga Park, Syracuse
After a relaxing vacation with Caleb’s family last week, I’m back to work! We came home Friday night and I did Lydia and Joe’s Onondaga Park engagement session on Saturday.
Usually, I’ve met my couples before photographing them, but this was my first time meeting Lydia and Joe. From our phone conversations, I knew that they are both very active and that they love to have fun together. While we walked from location to location, we were able to chat about their wedding plans, Lydia’s new job, summer plans, and their kids. They were even able to share some parenting advice with me! As we talked, it was obvious how much they love each other and how much they are looking forward to starting their new life together! It was great to get to know them better and to photograph the connection they share!
Despite the rainy weather we’ve been having, Saturday evening was perfect! There was not a cloud in the sky and by the end of the session, the lighting was golden and gorgeous! Not only was the lighting great, Lydia and Joe were pros as well! They mastered the basic poses easily and even had some of their own ideas that they wanted to try! Those poses turned out to be some of my favorite images from their shoot!
Lydia and Joe, I so enjoyed my time with you and can’t wait to see you again in April!
