Thanksgiving Tablescape with Emerald Events

Baldwinsville, New York

It’s no secret that I love shooting details.  So, when my friend Carriane asked if I would take photos of a tablescape she was designing for Thanksgiving, I didn’t have to think twice!  When you combine one of my favorite things to photograph with a chance to work with a great vendor, it’s always a no-brainer.

Carianne is the owner and designer at Emerald Events, an event planning company serving the Syracuse and Rochester areas.  We have gotten to know each other through the Syracuse Tuesday’s Together group and were both part of the Collaborative Holiday Shoot.  This fall, Carianne did a contest to win a custom-designed tablescape for Thanksgiving.  This was the end result!

The table was a mixture of peacock blues, deep orange, and gold tones.  There were fresh flowers and eucalyptus in the center of the table, adding lovely texture to the table without being overwhelming.  Gold-toned silverware added a touch of glamour along with the unique wine glasses.  Finally, a sprig of eucalyptus on each plate tied the table together for a finishing touch!

I love how this tablescape turned out!  Here are my favorite images from the shoot!  (PS. I hear that Carianne may be doing a Christmas table give-away, so be on the lookout for that!)
