I have been looking forward to this session ever since doing Teal’s maternity photos in December! Teal and Tom are one of the sweetest couples I’ve worked with, and I’ve enjoyed getting to know them during their sessions! This week I finally got to meet baby Kash, and I can’t wait to share the images from his lifestyle newborn session today!
Little Kash made his way into the world a little bit early! His original due date wasn’t until January 13th! Despite being a little guy, he is so strong! At the beginning of the session, Teal was telling me that he has already started rolling over. I got a chance to see him do it for myself, and I have to say it is quite impressive for a two-week-old!!
Kash was easily one of the most cooperative babies I’ve ever worked with! He barely made a peep the entire session, except for when his pacifier fell out. He did a great job staying awake when needed and slept peacefully the rest of the time. There is no scene more peaceful than a sleeping, content baby!
Tom and Teal created a dinosaur theme for Kash’s nursery and it is TOO CUTE! From the bedding, to the stuffed animals, to the tiny dino tracks on the walls, the room couldn’t be more perfect! To add to the cutenes, Teal’s mom had given Kash a dinosaur hat and diaper cover, which we definitely put to good use! Little Kash didn’t seem to mind at all!
I always say what a privilege it is to come into my client’s home and photograph them in this incredible new season of life. The first days with a newborn are emotional and exhausting, so I’m never sure what to expect when I arrive. This little family was the picture of happiness. Tom and Teal’s love for their son is apparent in their every action! I’m so thankful to have been able to document this time for them!
