Happy Birthday, SLP!

At this time last year, I was pretty nervous.  I had done a few free sessions for friends and was about to launch a photography business!  I felt unqualified and unsure.  Was I good enough?  Would people want me to take their photos?  Would anything come of this dream?  Well, a year later, the answer to all of those questions has been “yes!”  It makes my heart so happy to be celebrating Samantha Ludlow Photography’s first birthday this month!

There has been a lot of growth and changes over the past year.  My technique and confidence have skyrocketed and I no longer feel unsure walking into sessions.  I’ve learned so much about posing, lighting, locations, and editing and can confidently say that my clients are in good hands!

There have also been some behind the scenes changes!  First, there was the switch from paper contracts and invoices to electronic (why I didn’t start with electronic, I don’t know!).  Then there was the creation and development of this website.  This fall, I made the decision to expand my offerings from just portraits to include weddings as well.

In 2018, there have been two new developments that I’m excited to share with you today!

  1.  There is now an email list for those of you who want to stay up-to-date on all the latest news and offers from SLP!  Subscribers will be the first to know about giveaways, mini session dates, and any promotions that may be happening.  Plus, when you sign up, you’ll receive a FREE guide on how to prepare for your next session!  🙂
  2. I recently started a referral program!  For each friend you refer who books a session, you will receive 20% off your next session.  Refer five friends and you will have earned a FREE session!

I hope that these two programs allow me to serve you better!  I am so thankful for every person I’ve photographed this year, and I’m excited to be able to give back a little bit!
