A few weekends ago, I had the privilege of doing an engagement session for Bethany and Brian in Franklin Square. We were blessed with a gorgeous afternoon and had the majority of the park to ourselves! Definitely a recipe for success!
One of my favorite things about Franklin Square is how versatile it is! On one hand, all the brick buildings and wrought iron give an urban feel to the location. At the same time, all the flowers (because there is always SOMETHING blooming there) soften the landscape and can give you the impression of being in someone’s garden. In addition, there are so many different paths that I’m always stumbling across new locations within the park.
Bethany and Brian were awesome and explored a large portion of the park with me, which helped me to get a lot of variety in their images! These two were so much fun to work with! I always warn couples that they might feel a little awkward for the first few minutes of shooting, but Bethany and Brian seemed to be having fun from the get-go! They were constantly joking with each other and me, which made their session fly by. I love that they felt comfortable in front of the camera and it really shows in their images!
Bethany and Brian will be tying the knot in November, and I’m so excited to work with them again in a few months! In the meantime, here are my favorites from their urban engagement session!
