I have been looking forward to this session for quite some time! Unless I already know one of my wedding couples, the first time I meet them is usually at their engagement session. So, while I’ve been emailing back and forth with Maggie and Zack for months now, this was the first time we actually got to meet! It was so wonderful to get to talk face-to-face with them, and felt like I was meeting with old friends!
Maggie and Zack decided to do a rose garden engagement session at Thornden Park. The park is gorgeous at this time of year, as the roses hit their peak mid-June. While the garden can be pretty crowded on the weekends, we were lucky to have a pretty quiet day. It was nice to take our time making our way through the rose-covered arbors and different areas of the park. Plus, I had so many beautiful roses to choose from for the ring shots, which definitely made me a happy camper!
We ended Maggie and Zack’s session at Franklin Square park. I know I said this last week, but this park never disappoints! Even though I’ve been there a few times in the last month, each session winds up being completely unique from the others! The end of the session is usually more relaxed, and it was fun to see a more goofy side of these two. We had fun walking down some of the side streets and talking about summer plans.
The next time I see these two won’t be until their wedding in August! Until then, enjoy some of my favorites from Zack and Maggie’s rose garden engagement session!
