Last week I took a small break from the blog while we were on vacation. Now, we’re back and I’ve got an incredibly sweet session to share with you! Little Josephine (or Josie) made her way into the world almost three weeks ago and I was able to document some of her first days at an in-home newborn session!
Katie and Nate have been friends of ours for a few years now. We’ve watched them grow from a family of three to a family of five over the past few years and couldn’t be happier for them! This family is one of the kindest and most generous families we’ve ever met! Even when we were new to the Syracuse area, Katie and Nate were always offering to host us for dinner or get together for game night. While I definitely get attached to all of my clients, these guys are some of my favorites!
Now on to sweet little Josie! Being baby #3, Josie is already quite well loved, especially by her older siblings! Big brother, Tim, was so proud as he showed me his littlest sister, while big sister Lilly just wanted to hold her and give kisses! Josie was only four days old at the session and had just come home the day before, so it was sweet to watch the kids as they got to know her!
Little Josie did such a great job sitting through photos! She is such a snuggly little girl and definitely enjoyed being held by Mom and Dad. Josie was awake for most of the session and was content to just gaze up at whoever was holding her. I was super lucky to get a few minutes of snuggle time in before I left, too! That doesn’t usually happen at newborn sessions!
This newborn session was definitely one of my favorites to date! I couldn’t be happier for this family! Welcome, little Josephine!
