Molly & Nick – Married!

Perkasie, Pennsylvania

Molly and Nick celebrated their marriage with a barn wedding two weeks ago and we were able to travel down to Pennsylvania to document it!  This wedding was the most relaxed that I’ve ever shot, but also one of the happiest!  Molly and Nick’s love for each other was so evident throughout every portion of their day!

The day started with the girls getting ready at the church, followed by a traditional ceremony.  Molly and Nick opted not to see each other before the ceremony, which always makes the walk down the aisle extra sweet!  After the ceremony, we headed off to do family portraits and bridal party shots before going over the reception.

Molly and Nick’s reception was held in Molly’s grandparent’s barn.  Their reception was STUNNING and truly a labor of love for the entire family!  The barn was recently restored by Molly’s cousins, the flowers were grown by her mom and arranged by a long-time family friend, and the cake was baked by Molly’s sister and maid-of-honor!  Everywhere you looked, there were personal details filling the space.  Everything was carefully planned – from the guest book with photos from their engagement session, to the small flower arrangements placed across the barn!

As always, my favorite part of the reception was the first dance and parent dances!  First dances are often when a couple’s real personality comes out.  Molly and Nick could not stop smiling at each other during their dance and made each other laugh through the whole song!  And when it comes to parent dances, I don’t think I’ve made it through a wedding this season without shedding a few tears!

I’m so excited to be sharing these photos today!  Here are my favorite moments from Molly and Nick’s barn wedding!

I couldn’t post this blog without giving a huge shout out to my dear friend, Emily, who helped me photograph this wedding!  Shooting a wedding while 38 weeks pregnant is not an easy task and I certainly couldn’t have done it without her!  Love you, Em!  (And please don’t hate me for posting this, but I did warn you it was going on the blog! 😉
