Bethany and Brian tied the knot two weeks ago! Their intimate fall wedding at the Skyline Lodge was filled with so much joy that even the wind and rain couldn’t dampen their spirits! There were so many genuine and touching moments during this wedding that I barely know where to start!
At every wedding I go to, I always look forward to the toasts. Those are the moments where I get to see my couple through the eyes of their closest friends and family. Bethany and Brian’s wedding was special in that they had five toasts! Their friends relayed stories about how the couple met and adventures they’d all had together. There were many moments of laughter and a few tears, but through it all, the message was the same: Bethany and Brian are the type of people who will be there for you through thick and thin. They have true servant’s hearts.
This was especially evident throughout their wedding day. On wedding days, it’s my job to find ways to serve my couples, beyond just taking photos. At Bethany and Brian’s wedding, however, it seemed as if they were the ones serving us! They continually checked in with us as we were doing photos to see if we needed anything, or if they could help in any way. From helping to gather family for portraits to grabbing us a cupcake during dinner, Bethany and Brian made us feel loved and appreciated!
This wedding was an adventure in that the weather did not cooperate at all! We had everything from rain to snow to sleet! Bethany, Brian, and the bridal party were real troopers and did most of their photos outdoors. It wasn’t comfortable (hello gusting winds!) or easy, but they made it work and definitely got a few laughs out of it!
Bethany and Brian, we are so happy to have celebrated with you two! May your marriage be blessed with as much joy and laughter as your wedding day was!
