Happy Friday, everyone! Do you guys remember the giveaway I hosted way back when I launched my new website? Ashlee was the winner of that session and today I’m finally sharing her spring maternity session!
One of the great things about doing a giveaway is that I don’t put a limit on what type of session the winner picks. It could be anything from an engagement session to a in-home family session to a personal branding session! Really, there are so many possibilities. So when I contacted Ashlee to let her know she had won, I had no idea what to expect!
Thankfully, Ashlee already knew exactly what she wanted: maternity photos! Ashlee and her husband, Nick, will be welcoming their sweet baby girl in just a few more weeks! At our session and during the planning process, they spoke about how their road to parenthood hasn’t been easy and even this pregnancy has had its challenges. This made the session so much more meaningful to me, knowing how much of an answer to prayer their little girl is!
We decided to do their session at Franklin Square Park in downtown Syracuse. I love Franklin Square because it is one of the most versitile locations I’ve shot! There are so many great spots within the park (all with great lighting!) that each session I shoot there winds up looking completely unique. While we did have to contend with some prom crowds, I love how these images turned out!
