Kamie & Aaron – Engagement Session at Robert Treman State Park

Ithaca, New York

Today’s session features waterfalls, gorges, so much green, and the most adventurous couple! I’m so excited to be sharing Kamie and Aaron’s engagement session at Robert Treman State Park on the blog today!

I’ve been looking forward to this session ever since Kamie and I started planning it weeks ago. While most brides have an idea of the location or season for their session, Kamie had a full vision of what she wanted! She was so passionate, even through email, that I knew this session was going to be fun!

Kamie and Aaron met on Christian Mingle after realizing that they both love fishing. In fact, fishing has played a large role throughout their relationship. Aaron actually proposed at a picnic next to Lake Ontario and had put the ring in his sinker box. Kamie said that when he first reached in for the ring, she was excited because she thought he was giving her one of his new sinkers. I’m sure she was surprised to see a beautiful diamond instead!

Kamie and Aaron were adamant that they wanted to incorporate their love of fishing into their session and I’m so glad they did. The photos of them in front of the waterfall with their fishing rod is one of my favorites! Their images tell so much about who they are as a couple.

We hiked up and down the gorge with these two and had such a blast. The park was quiet because it had been raining all afternoon and it was perfect! Between the cool mist and the glistening stone walkways, you couldn’t ask for a better setting.

Kamie and Aaron are so sweet to each other, adventurous, and just plain fun. I’m already looking forward to their wedding next May!

Here are my favorite moments from Kamie and Aaron’s engagement session at Robert Treman State Park.
