Last week, I met up with Samantha and Kyle for their engagement session in Waterloo and Geneva. These two were so much fun and were either smiling or laughing the entire time! I’m so excited to be sharing their Finger Lakes engagement session on the blog today!
I first met Sam back in May at the bridal show I did at Bristol Harbour. She wasn’t one of the show attendees, but rather was working at the booth next to me! Over the course of the day, we chatted a little bit about her engagement and wedding plans and I was SO excited when she and Kyle decided to book me as their photographer. I usually don’t meet or get to know my couples until their engagement session, but I knew that Sam and I would work well together!
Samantha and Kyle are incredibly sweet. Listening to them tell the story of how he proposed and their wedding plans, I could tell that they are the real deal. These two were so natural together that I barely had to pose them! They just knew what to do!
We started their Finger Lakes engagement session at the Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve. Kyle works there often and knew the area well. He is an expert of sorts on wildflowers (he works keeping invasive species from overrunning the native ones) and even picked the most beautiful wildflower for Sam during the shoot! There were so many flowers blooming and the golden blooms were perfect for this end-of-summer session.
Towards the end of the session we headed over to Geneva to take some photos on Seneca Lake. We got there just as the light was becoming really glowy and it made for beautiful photos!
