This post has been a long time coming. While this session took place only a week or so ago, it’s been in the planning stages for over a year!! Between two families’ busy schedules and a global pandemic, it took so much longer than expected to get it on the books. Finally we were able to do the Unright’s fall photo session at the farm and the result was SO lovely!
Sarah and Matt are dear friends of ours and some of the first people we met in Syracuse. When we first met them their older daughter, Natalie, was only 6 months old and Caleb and I had no kids! With all that’s happened over the past few years, it’s hard to remember those days!
In the last 6 or so years, these guys have been good friends to us and our kids. We love scheduling play dates together and family game nights. They are also one of the other families in our little homeschool group, which has been so much fun!
When we bought our farm last fall, Sarah and I immediately started talking about doing their family photos there. Unfortunately our closing date got pushed back too late for that to happen last year, but the timing this year was perfect. The leaves were at their peak and the evening was gorgeous.
After doing two weekends of Mini Sessions (which are only 20 minutes long), doing a full session here was so much fun! We got to take our time with each round of images and the kids were able to take a break when needed. Plus, after doing so many sessions at the farm, I knew exactly where the good locations would be!
