It seems fitting to start the new year off with a newborn session blog post! Today’s newborn session features such a fun and joyful family, as well as the CUTEST big sister.
Sarah and Tom welcomed their little boy, Timothy, in early December. One thing that made this session so special to me is that Timmy shares a birthday with our son, Christopher! It was so beautiful to see another family welcoming a new little one during the same season that we had welcomed ours the year before.
Timmy was such a good sport for these photos. He loved being held (one of the best reasons to do a lifestyle type of session for newborn photos) and got plenty of snuggles from the whole family! Meanwhile, big sister, Hannah, kept us all laughing and on our toes. I loved seeing the Hughes family get to be silly and have fun with one another during these photos.
My favorite images from this session are the ones of the whole family on the bed. Everyone seems so relaxed and the smiles are genuine. I love the shots of Hannah coming over to give her little brother kisses! Those first few snuggles between siblings are so sweet!
I also wanted to include some photos of baby Timmy with his grandpa, whom he was named after! What a special connection!
